During the Quarter Break a number of our students spent their time off serving in Honduras. We were able to see all of the great work that Mission UpReach is doing to transform the culture of Western Honduras. They accomplish this through their primary mission of church planting. We were able to witness first hand how each of their many projects help further than goal. Our students spent the week out at The Moses Project laying the foundation for a brand new cabin. Other groups will come in and help finish the great work that this group started.
It was great to experience another culture and meet so many of our brothers and sisters. It made no difference that we could not speak their language. They welcomed us with open arms and treated us like family because that is exactly what we are.
“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In Him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.”
